Our Story
I have always loved cooking. It was and is like therapy for me. I learned it all from my mum, watching her whilst sitting next to the hob. I cooked family meals from a young age and was always keen to experiment with new ingredients. In 2001 I moved to Glasgow in Scotland and the array and variety of ingredients available blew me away. I ventured into every cuisine I could get ingredients for. My cooking started to evolve rapidly, as did my confidence in the kitchen. I frequently invited friends round for dinner, but was never a fan of the formal dinner party, but instead focused on sharing around a big table, which is why I love cooking for retreats. My business background is Marketing, but I’ve always found ways of incorporating my passion for food. Kitchen Alchemie was born early in 2019 after a dear friend asked me to cater for her yoga retreat in the Scottish Highlands. Since then I have catered for various Retreats, in the Alps, Italy, and the UK. Food and nutrition is my passion, and I put all my pride and hard work into my creations.
